Free Printable Staff Paper

Here are some common types of free printable staff paper for you to simply print and use. Maybe you could even compose something?

Think ecologically! Save some trees and make sure you set your printer to print on both sides to save paper. Choose lighter grey color to save some ink, as well.

If you plan on learning some music theory, it is always a good idea to have some blank music sheets ready to practice on.

Remember that a staff has five lines. Notes are written on the lines and in between the lines, in the spaces. If the notes go above or below the staff- you have to add ledger lines, or help lines.

Wide Staff Lines:
This staff paper has wider lines and spaces which makes it is easier for children to write on, for example.
Grand Staff for Piano
This is a Grand staff for all pianists and piano composers! with the brace already done for you. Just add the clefs and notes.
8-Stave Manuscript Paper
8 staves per page, regular size. This staff paper has more space, which makes it good for when you want to write lyrics or chords between the lines, for example.
10-Stave Manuscript Paper
10 regular sized staves per page. This is one of the more common staff papers, used by all musicians.
